Who wants to be tempered by the indescribable Philippe Etchebest, the two-star Bordeaux chef, behind his stove and in front of millions of viewers? The famous show “Kitchen nightmare”, broadcast on M6, is (again) looking for volunteers to Toulouse.

Program seeks out “difficult” restaurants

“We are looking for restaurateurs from Toulouse and the region, having difficultiesand who would be interested in receiving advice from the chef”, indicates the television channel Toulouse News. The filming would make it possible to complete the 12th season of the program.

Any type of restaurant can apply. “The only imperative is to offer service bench”, we continue on the M6. “We do not accept fast food brands.”

“Each file is studied in relation to the problems encountered by restaurant owners (organization, management, menu, brand identity, etc.). The only thing we can’t have control over is the location of the restaurant.”

How to register for the show?

If the request for intervention often comes from the owner of the restaurant who is applying for casting for the show, “it can also come from those around him, with the approval, of course, of the marketer”.

The cameras must be installed in the selected establishment at the end of 2023, for transmission airing in 2024. The precise filming dates have not yet been decided, “it will depend on the restorers”, specifies the production, which adds that interested parties can contact them to apply. by email by clicking hereor by phone 06 70 17 35 14.

To try to remedy the situation, Philippe Etchebest and the Cauchemar en cuisine teams encouraged restaurant owners to put an end to the all-you-can-eat buffet and focus on changing the menu.

Bitterly, the Grand Régal closed shop

But Cindy, Christopher AND Tony Neveu they ended up confiding their bitterness and even felt that they had been “torpedoed” : “Since the show, we have accused 50% fewer customers”, they explained. “Even if the average basket is higher, that is not enough to compensate.” The brand, whose furniture was sold at auction, I ended up packing my bags this summer.

Others, on the contrary, managed to get back on the right path. Three years after his appearance on the M6, the owner of the Quai 25 restaurant Wall, finally arrived a few weeks agoto pass the hand…
