Duomo Squarea renowned restaurant in Alba, and its 3*** Michelin chef Enrico Crippa received 5 radishes during the We are smartt©an undeniable reference in the culinary world of fruits and vegetables.
We are smartt©presented its annual awards on October 24th during a prestigious show at the Vaudeville theater in Brussels. During this ceremony, the names of the world’s best vegetable restaurants, the world’s best vegetable chefs and a selection of notable, sustainable and healthy food innovations were revealed.
Last year, it reached the podium in the ranking of the 100 best vegetable restaurants in the world, Duomo Square, led by the leader Enrico Crippa, is re-elected in 3rd place this year. He is behind El Invernadero (Spain) by chef Rodrigo de La Calle came in 2nd place and the restaurant De Nieuwe Winkel, by chef Emile van der Staak, came in 1st place in the ranking.
As such, Duomo Square is rewarded with 5 radishes. Another consecration for the chef Enrico Crippa already holds 3 *** from Michelin. It is a true achievement in that Lombard, 52 years old, whose restaurant has a 23.5 ha vegetable garden, does not just work with plants and creates superb recipes with beef, veal and other animal proteins.
