Milau. The bakery and pastry shop “Le Fournil d’Angel” celebrated its 5th anniversary

Last October, the bakery and pastry shop “Le Fournil d’Angel” celebrated its 5th anniversary. A beautiful story of artisans that has lasted many years and is now lived every day with the family on rue de Louga.

After expatriating to Hérault and Tarn, on October 8, 2018, Xavier and Betty Constans returned to Millau, their hometown, to take over the Louga bakery, which they named “Fournil d’Angel”.

5 years ago, with her daughter Eugénie, and today Laurence, the saleswoman, and Corentin, the baker, take great care of their customers who appreciate good artisanal products.

Xavier began practicing his profession at the age of 14 at the Saint-Jacques de Monsieur André’s pastry shop, then at the Crès bakery then managed by the Loubière family. He then worked for many years at Maison Bouard before leaving Millau to open his own business, an experience that has lasted 23 years.

An artisanal baker, confectioner and chocolate maker, he manufactures his products with the know-how acquired over time in the tradition of artisanal bakers. Special breads, country breads, fouace made according to the rules of the Aveyron recipe, flaune, rissole that he has made since he was very young, pastries, pastries… every day, behind the scenes the bakers are busy from early in the morning to offer gourmets the best local and homemade products, and this has been happening in Millau for 5 years.
