Tiptree Patisserie, part of the Wilkin & Sons family, is home to artisan cakes, cookies and other baked goods.
Famous for its Tiptree jam, the artisan bakery and confectionery based in Crittall Road has already impressed the judges at the Great British Food Awards.
Four of its products have won five awards, including bronze awards for its vegan Bakewell cookies and lavender shortbread cookies, as well as silver for its two-category carrot cake and its chocolate brownie cheesecake.
Daren McGrath, managing director, said: “We are very proud to be hosting four Great British Food Awards this year.
“This was the first year we participated and we couldn’t believe our excellent results.
“Our bakers make our products by hand, using the best quality ingredients and a little love, which in turn creates our most beloved cakes and desserts.”
The bakery prides itself on the quality of the ingredients used and the individual skill and attention given to each baked product.
Alongside the cakes, biscuits and biscuits, the team prepares fresh quiches daily and serves them from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 4pm.
